I wear baggy clothes
to hide my deadly secret:
anorexia.
On Saturday, I showed a “classic” figure concealing sweater from the 80s. StichayWoman commented:
The trend, as I recall, was to be as thin as possible while wearing clothes that COMPLETELY concealed said thinness under a circus tent of fabric.
Uhmm… did you say “circus tent of fabric”?
This pattern published in the December 1988 issue of McCall’s Needlework and fabric touted “extra large sizing”. Reading the directions one discovers “one size fits bust sizes 30 1/2″ to 44″; the finished bust size was 60″!
Yes, I think I have uncovered ultimate circus tent of fabric!
