Michael Becker will be conducting two machine knitting seminars in March:

  • InterKnit Machine Knitters is hosting a full day workshop with Michael Becker
on Saturday, March 12, 2005 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm at College of DuPage in
Glen Ellyn, Illinois (easy access from I355 or I88).

In the morning the topics will be general interest topics applicable to all
machines: Color 101, Ponchos, and Blocking. In the afternoon, he will be
discussing Passap specific topics such as: Passap Paramedic Applied,
Self-folding ribbing, Short rowing, and Designer ribbing. The cost is $30. Lunch is
extra – the club will be ordering pizza or sandwiches or you can bring your own
    lunch.

For more information or a registration form, check Interknit’s announcement flyer. (While you are there, check out the club calendar. I see Irish Bishop is tentatively slated to demonstrate in April!! )

  • Mr. Becker will also be demonstrating at Knittin’ To It in Burr Ridge, Illinois on
Sunday, March 13, 2005. For more information, check the Knittin’ To It’s calendar.

I’m hoping to get to the seminar in Wheaton on Saturday, March 12. Hope I see site visitors there!
