Beginner special:
Easy unshaped garter stitch
makes a sexy skirt!
Hey! If I were 19 and learning to knit, I’d make this. Would I wear it? You bet!
If you can’t figure out the pattern on your own, you can download it from Adriafil.

That is actually pretty cute! Maybe out of a drapey ribbon yarn?
Hmmmm…..

In my day, this was known as a loin cloth and usually came with feathers as an accessory.

Kinda slutty! Nice to know that the knitting community thinks that “knitter” is not antithetical to “promiscuous.”

Yup. Loincloth. Bet the office dress code doesn’t say anything about this—yet.

Um….isn’t it supposed to be over a swimsuit? I thought she was wearing it over the bottom of a tankini.
It would be rather alarming if it indeed was worn alone!

I think it is worn over a swimsuit. Wear it alone in a bar, and you’d better be darn careful how you sit!

I have always liked knit and crocheted skirts.
I would make and wear this in private for my husband.
As for over a swim suit..probably the original intent..but I do not appear in public in a ..swim suit.
But my ol perv would love it..minus any pesky bikini bottoms.
