The scary thing for me is that I actually purchased that knitting book AND I still own it. In looking back at it, I see there are several normal patterns - you had me worried for a moment.

Yes, there are several normal patterns! The cover is fine, patterns 9,11,12,and 13 ware absolutely classic. In fact, at least 3/4 of the sweaters are fine.
Speaking of which, I may need to show some so people realize that every book containing weird patterns also contains normal ones.
