I think you should know
I’m the red hot mama
who knit a Ferrari!
Lisa Mendel of Green Knitters pointed out this news article from The Times On Line”. I forwarded the photo to my husband, Jim, and his two brothers, Robert and David ( aka, “the twins”). The twins co-own a Ferrari and must spend at least 8 hours every Saturday and Sunday cleaning or maintaining the car or showing it. Here are their responses:
David:
I wonder how long it took her to make it?
Robert:
She needs to get a life!
Jim’s response was simply:
Wow!
I couldn’t help wondering: What yarn did she use?
I am kind of hoping Lauren Proter, 22, knit yardage by machine, then cut out pieces and sewed them together. I mean… that’s a lot of knitting!

Nope, it’s hand-knit – she roped in friends and family – I can’t quite see how that makes it all her own work meself! Hmm!
