I started a machine knitters blog ring. If you knit by machine and blog about it at least once a month, you qualify! If you blog about other things too, (as most do) I ask that you set up a machine knit category, so people can find the machine knitting blogs.
I guess I better find out if people can set up categories on blogger! I list it as a requirement, but I don’t want to exclude people who do discuss machine knitting.

Hi,
Blogger has free blog sites. I find publishing a bit slow and tedious compared to using my for pay site, but it’s good enough for a free site!
To get a blogger site,
* Look the the right panel of my site. Find the link with the words: “machine knit bloggers”. Click that. That’s the site where I set up the ring.
* When you get there, look in the top right hand corner. It will say something like “get your own blog”. Click that.
After that, blogger will set up up with a blog. Presto!
Make sure you keep track of all your sign up information: Username, password etc. And drop bookmarks to all the reelvant pages. You’ll want them to go back and create a blog. Blogger does have tools to let you upload pictures and a bunch of other stuff. But, I’ll admit I’m not a pro on blogger. I just set it up yesterday, and only plan to learn the blogger interface enough to support the ring there instead of here.
There is a knit blogs email list on yahoo, and a bunch of people over there use blogger, so eventually, it should be easy to locate people who are blogger pros.

Oh, I’m so glad you started this. There arerings for knit bloggers and rings for machine knitting, but no ring for machine knitting bloggers. I started one when I got my new blog, thinking I would find the time to get it going. But I have no business managing a ring because I’m not very computer literate. I’m joining!

That ring surf interface is not the easiest I’ve ever used! But, I got Xona Fusion Knitting in. Hopefully, without bombarding you with email.
