Mohair Lambswool from
Bonnie Triola’s Flyer

Must not buy more machine knitting yarn.
Muuuusssttt noooooottt buuuuuyyyyyy!

I just bought that gorgeous Cascade Quatro, and made plans to buy more. So, naturally, Bonnie Triola’s flyer materialized in my mailbox today. I am filled with lust for stash!

See the fuzzy strand on the far right? That’s “Mouflon”, an Italian mohair, lambswool blend– only $21.66 a pound! I love the pine green. Can’t you just seem me wearing a classy cardigan knit in the that?

Now, I don’t see the yardage for “Mouflon” on the flyer. (Which is odd; Bonnie usually includes that information.) Obviously, the yarn is very fine. For a cardigan, I’d probably follow Bonnie’s advice and double strand it to get 6.5 stitches per inch. (Or, triple strand and hand knit the yarn. Heck, quadruple it! )

But, gosh, I have cones and cones of machine knitting yarn. I shouldn’t. I just shouldn’t.

Must go swatch that peach wool in my stash. Must go…..
