The big one to the right doesn't look like Notre Dame. It's orange; maybe it's Le Musee de L'Orangerie? I think I see something purplish next to to that.

It's definitely odd. It makes me want to design a big Chicago sweater with a strangely colored Sears Tower next to some blazing Ferris wheel and "the bean" in some sort of odd yarn.

Please tell me that's not Notre Dame flanking the Eiffel Tower! Why someone would design something as hideous as this is a bigger mystery than The Da Vinci Code...

I had some I bought and saved, though I pitched most when I moved. It turned out my mom's friends kept many of theirs, so I have quite a batch. I do get a kick out of their design choices!

I'm pretty sure McCall's magazine itself went out of business or morphed into another publication some time ago, taking the craft magazine along with it. Too bad because I always enjoyed the craft one.

I've only ever seen old copies. I think I either picked them up at garage sales or at a thrift shop. Thankfully not all the patterns were quite so ... ummm.. bright. hehe
