As some of you may be aware, my blog, site and forums flickered on and off two weeks ago, and then vanished. If you tried to email me, you likely discovered that lucia@thedietdiary.com also vanished. (I’m testing right now– so far, I haven’t gotten any mail using that address. Sigh. . .)
Well, if you are reading this, at least the blog is back.
What happened? My the server hosting my sites experienced hardware problems. Afterwards, the seem to have had some other undisclosed problems. I posted quite a few tickets beggign them to get me back up and the blog finally is up. The forum, where the knit along was to be held, is not yet up — I’ll post when it is.
Still, if you are planning to work on socks, go find your yarn and needles. With some luck, the forum will be up soon!
To answer the obvious question: Am I shopping around for a new hosting service. Uhmm, YEAH!

Well now that’s MUCH better =)
Bluehost.com is great as is hasweb.com - both offer affordable STABLE service with great support if you need it.

I just discovered I’m an addict to your site. I went through withdrawl and panic attack not seeing it. Besides, I’m just about to the point that I was going to try bust darts for the first time. I thought I might have to wing it alone without your descriptions.

Gail! You know… I was tempted to switch last December when things would blink on and off from time to time. I’m pretty sure I’ll be taking you up on that coupon offer!
