Quick, easy, comfortable, and flattering. But that’s not all! It doubles as a handy cat toy!
You can imitate my vest in the yarn of your choice. Chart your own knitting pattern using my mirror vest pattern generator (hand knit). Your cat will love you for it.
(The news boy hat pattern is here.)
I think I’m going to chart a similar vest for machine knitters… some time. Because garter stitch is a pain in the you know on the machine. I’ll probably replace the garter stitch with I-Cord or ribbing. Maybe a hung hem? I’ll think about that a bit.
If I had cotton, I’d make it long, in lace, and use it as a beach cover up. I’ll need one, if I visit Dad in Sarasota, right? But, I don’t have any cotton in my stash, so I’ll need to think about that too.
Hey, Mom, you read my blog. I have peach yarn in the stash. Do you want one? Or maybe Maggie wants a vest?

I have other colors! I coded the machine knit pattern. I’m going to test knit one way other the other. guess I’ll decide on the color after I exercise!
