Can you believe it? Knitting is good for you.
According to researchers at University College London, performing a visuospatial task -- one that uses your hands, like needlepoint, or knitting, or even worry beads -- may have a protective effect against post-traumatic stress disorder.Well, I went away for a bit for my... uhmmm 45th birthday. Now I better get back and knit some more! Lucia Test Clicksor ad

Hi Lucia! Just found your site - The sweater design program you have set up is wonderful! I am designing my own sweater, using your guidelines. Thank you so much for taking the time to put the program together.
Best, Prim

I LOVE your Pattern Generators, and I would like to ask a question. I have come up with an idea for a knitting program, but I don’t know where to start. What types of programs would I need to learn in order to code a knitting program? I was hoping that you would be wiling to give me some suggestions as to where to start. Thank you.

The first step for programming is to take an introductory class on programming. You’ll learn to organize the steps for a code in general.
After that, you can think about the programming language. I code some generators in javascript and some in Perl. There is not “best” language though. The language choice depends to an extent on your goals!
