Sexy fringe flutters
swaying in the soft sea breeze,
blue as the ocean.
Dee saw this pattern at Elann.com and just knew a Haiku lay inside. I mean, cat attracting fringe hanging from the skirt the width of a belt? A knitting pattern like this requires some comment!
At least she’s modeling it at the sea side where other knitters are likely wearing less!
Normally, this would end a haiku entry. However, since the whole “fib” meme arose, I can’t help thinking up those too. However, despite the pseudo-mathematical nature of fibs, starting with two single syllables often leads to horrible choppy, ugly poems, so you’ll see more haiku than fib. But, as long as I thought of one, and it’s not too dreadfully choppy, I’ll let you decide.
Blue
fringe
dangles,
fluttering
as a woman strolls
near the silent sandy seashore.

On one hand, I think the outfit looks lovely on her. On the other, I think having it made out of knit fabric is just plain dumb. hehehe
If this outfit was out of some sort of gauze-like fabric, it would be totally awesome. Granted not that many people would actually be able to wear it and look good. hehehe

I looked at the pattern & don’t quite get it - it has a thong? Bikini bottom? Weird.
Without the weird thong, though, it’s a bellydance belt.
