I’ve been adding Fibs to supplement my Haiku. So I thought I’d better an self updating list of my Knitting Fibs; the more recent ones will appear nearer the top of the list.
Fibs are a type of poem based on Fibonnaci numbers, which progresses as “0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, . . .”
The poems begin with silence to represent zero; the second line contains 1 syllable. The number of syllables in each succeeding line is equal to the sum of the number in the previous two lines. Counting the silent line as #1, most poems continue up the 7th line. However, the poet may continue adding lines if she so desires.
