What’s with this Rowan photo spread? The model looks like a drugged out ragamuffin who can’t stay awake for the photo shoot. I could imagine that top could be made to look nice if someone blocked it. It sure looks drab against the bright summer sky (and worn over all that other stuff.)

I suppose they borrowed a hat from “The Mad Hatter” to brighten up the model?

The yarn used for this sweater is called “Explosion”. The design is called “Mururoa” after a seamount formed when a volcano erupted beneath the sea. Maybe seeing this yarn made the designer think about hurling hot liquids violently into the air?

My sister knows I write haiku. So, she suggested I try my hand at writing a Fib. These poems are based on the Fibonacci series, which goes 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21 etc. Basically, you start with 0 and 1; after that, the next number is the sum of the previous two.

Gegory K. who started this fib meme seems to stop when he reaches the 8 syllable line. But this is kind of fun, so I couldn’t help adding the 13 syllable line!
