Childs Cat Sweater

Designer A, “I’ve revised my ‘big fat cat sweater’. Isn’t it smashing?”

Designer B, “Uhmm… ‘Desperate Yarn Company’ wants designs suitable for adults, remember?”

This sweater appeared in “Mon Tricot Knit and Crochet 20 Shmashing Fashions” (I can not, for the life of me, find the publication date.)

Pussy cat sweater

Designer A, “Look what I came up with!”

Designer B, “Who doesn’t want a big fat cat sitting on her chest?”

This appeared in McCall’s Needlework and Craft, October 1988. It appeared on a page that proclaimed “A Night On the Town!” I guess the editor lopped off “Listening to Your Six Year Old’s School Play!”
