This appeared in McCall’s Needlework and Craft, October 1988. It appeared on a page that proclaimed “A Night On the Town!” I guess the editor lopped off “Listening to Your Six Year Old’s School Play!”

Designer A: “Don’t you think the mantel looks bare?” Designer B: “Very bare.”

Designer A: “Christmas stockings?”
